University District Service Providers Alliance

The University District Service Providers Alliance (UDSPA) is a cooperative of organizations who provide services and resources to homeless, street-involved and at-risk young people in the University District area. The UDSPA agencies collaborate regularly to support vulnerable youth and young adults in the University District community. The UDSPA Holiday Party is being hosted by the agencies below. All UDSPA Agencies are independent 501c3 not-for-profit organizations. Street Youth Ministries is the fiscal manager of the UDSPA Holiday Party and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, Tax ID#91-1699297. www.streetyouthministries.org

Teen Feed

Teen Feed provides meal and support coordination for homeless and street-involved youth in University District, Auburn, and Rainier Beach. Over the warm Teen Feed meal, youth and young adults ages 13-25 build relationships and connect with resources, including street outreach, support coordination, and healthcare services, and a caring community to help them begin their futures off the streets. Teen Feed is the only meal programs meeting the unique needs of homeless youth 365 days a year in King County. For more information, please visit www.teenfeed.org.

Teen Feed works with the community to offer support to meet basic needs, build strong relationships, and ally with homeless youth as they meet their futures off the streets.

Street Youth Ministries

To provide youth in Seattle's University District with life-skills, resources and relationships that bring hope and healing to their lives and the community.  

 

45th Street Youth Clinic

Our clinic provides integrated health care services to homeless youth ages 12-23. Our services are offered from a harm-reduction approach and include allopathic primary care, mental health counseling, HIV counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, acupuncture, naturopathy, social work, outreach, yoga, dental care, and insurance enrollment. To provide personalized, quality and comprehensive physical and mental health care following a health care maintenance model to homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness. 

 

Sanctuary Art Center

The Sanctuary Art Center is a non-profit art studio serving homeless youth and young adults ages 13-25. The center  offers programs in Visual Arts, Theater, Music and Youth Employment. Programs are instructed by professional and amateur artists from the local community. ROOTS
Young Adult Shelter

ROOTS provides shelter for young adults, serving up to 45 guests nightly with meals, showers, laundry and access to support. While the holidays are a great time to give, homelessness is year round.  We warmly welcome you to come join our family of volunteers anytime.

University District Youth Center

The University District Youth Center (UDYC), a program of Catholic Community Services, has been changing the lives of homeless young people ages 13-22 in the Seattle area for over 20 years.

 

UDYC has a proven track record of being able to move youth through a continuum of supports beginning with accessing basic needs from our Drop In Center and then engaging youth in our supportive case management and employment programs. Youth find safety, stability, and supportive connections—all under the roof of the yellow house. For more information, please visit

U District Seattle Public Library 

Seattle Public Library's University District Branch provides many services for the youth in the area. They offer a drop-in space each Wednesday, host a homeless youth advocacy group organized through Mockingbird Society, plan community events that provide safe space for LGTBQ youth, in addition to the typical library resources. For more information, please email kristy.gale@spl.org
